The LINK News Bulletin is a monthly update of LINK’s research and other activities, a round-up of relevant innovation news and an op-ed on various topical issues, titled the LINK LOOK. In November-December 2009's LINK LOOK, Andy Hall and Jeroen Dijkman argue that much more than increased spending on agricultural research is required and that what is now needed is a prominent development investor that will champion the idea of research as an integrated part of a more broadly-conceived capacity for change.
Towards enhancing innovation systems performance in smallholder African agriculture - Proceedings of the first CoS-SIS International Conference
The COS-SIS programme "Convergence of Sciences: Strengthening Agricultural Innovation Systems in Benin, Ghana and Mali" carries out experiments to elaborate, apply and assess an innovation system approach to sustainable rural poverty alleviation and food security. Its first international conference was held in Elmina, Ghana, from the 22nd to the 26th of June 2009.
